Pelosi’s Jab at the Declaration of Independence

I can’t say that I was surprised when the health care debacle passed, but I was shocked, angered – no outraged when that Hag that is Pelosi had the temerity to link this disgusting bill to the Declaration of Independence. She made what is a most egregious error by calling on one of the greatest claims for personal freedom when she characterized the nature of the health care bill as one that is consistent with our Declaration of Independence. Clearly, the Speaker of the House has no working knowledge of what ‘life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness’ means. Clearly she forgot or chose to overlook the true intent of the Declaration of Independence when she forgot to complete the phrase she started, this phrase -‘That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — ‘

Of especial importance is this phrase ‘Deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed’. The American people, the governed, did not consent to this law, making this law unjust, because only ‘JUST’ powers come from our consent. This is the basis of our Republic, the basis of our law- the true basis of justice. We the people know this and we will prevail in the end. We must and we will fight this fight until the end. We must take back this country and return the government to one of consent by the people. I believe that we can do this. America’s true spirit will reawaken anew, we will take back our country.

Remember, the Declaration also states ‘That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government…’ These are our rights as declared by our Founding Fathers and we will exercise them come November.  I highly suggest Pelosi prepare herself for the coming defeat, it will be monumental.
